You Don't Know What You Don't Know

I don’t think I would be where I am today if I did not continue to ask questions. I remember working at the Steakhouse and this man came out of a white drop top Bentley. Everyone wanted to know how much the car costs, what he did, and I just walked up and asked the man, “Do you mind if I ask what you do for a living?” His response was, “Would you like to work for me?” And the rest was history!
Sometimes we look at others as inspiration, but are we looking deep enough to see what exactly it is about the person that is inspiring? Is it the way they talk, the way they dress, how they think, how they save? All questions that have an answer in some way, if we just ask. You would be surprised how many people are just waiting for someone to ask them about specific information that they have been eager to share! Hint, why I began writing this blog about thoughts that just so happen to cross my mind on a deeper level.
Whether it is being a better person or learning something new, I would suggest writing it down and then asking where you can find the resources to make it happen, because they are out there, somewhere. But when you do find the resources to overcome your goal, be vocal and continue to ASK QUESTIONS because there is an answer!
